Dental Laboratory Technicians
Dental laboratory technology is the art and science of manufacturing corrective devices and replacements for natural teeth. For our laboratory-fabricated long-term dental work (such as inlay/onlays, veneers, crowns, bridges, implant crowns, dentures), we work in close calibration with like-minded and artistic dental technicians who use state-of-the-art technology.
Our dental laboratory technicians are extremely skilled professionals who work with Grey Lynn Dental behind the scene. They have been working with us for over 20 years to manufacture customised tooth replacements. Each restoration the technician makes will be different and each must simulate the aesthetic and function of the natural teeth. Our technicians are skilled in the use of sophisticated instruments, techniques and equipment while performing laboratory procedures. Their work requires detailed precision. They work with a variety of materials in replacing damaged or missing tooth structure. These includes waxes, plastics, precious and non-precious allows and a wide variety of porcelains and composite resins.
Our laboratory technicians play a significant role in the delivery of our dental health care and takes pride from producing a hand-crafted product.
We have specifically chosen to work with them for their uncompromising attention to detail. Our technicians are based in Auckland and are registered by the New Zealand Dental Council.
